Well!!!!! who would have thought something so small could take so long to make? This is a small cotton reel and though you can't see(which is a shame!!) i covered it with gold and coloured flakes,then punched out a top and bottom in similar coloured card,punched out the bird in gold card using a Stamping up punch ,the butterfly i stamped onto crafty individuals paper and put it onto a strip of acetate to make it look as if it's floating,made a nest from fibres and stamped eggs onto shrink plastic and put on the nest and the base,punched tiny flowers and leaves and added stickles to them,i am chuffed with this and just wish it could be seen better This weeks challenge was chosen by teammate Ildiko so you can blame her lol she's on an altered art trip methinks.This week we are being sponsored by the wonderful Craft Barn so please be sure to link them in your side bar,they are so generous as a sponsor.
